Hi,
I'll be leaving this Sunday around 4pm with a medical team of 3 others to Zambia for 2 weeks.  We connect through Amsterdam, Nairobi and Lusaka on our way to Samfya, a small town in the northeastern part of the country. This is the 6th medical mission trip to Samfya through Willowcreek church, with the main goal to partner with the Samfya Community of Care Providers (SCCP), a non-governmental organization of 23 local churches.   There will be a variety of activities for the team, but I will mostly be based in the newly constructed government regional hospital to perform and assist with surgical procedures.  I will definitely be out of my comfort zone, lacking the familiarity, technology and medical supplies that I've been accustomed to relying on at Northwestern.  I know that with prayer, patience and openness,  that this will be a transformative trip for me, our team and the people of Samfya.  Thank you for your support and prayers,
